Donald Roger Anderson, 68, of Confluence RD 1, died Aug. 29, 1997, at his home. He was born Oct. 28, 1928, in Bidwell, a son of the late Gladdis and Mildred (Shipley) Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael, and a brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife, the former Eva Jean Plume of Confluence; three children, seven grandchildren; a brother, Paul Anderson of Confluence; and three sisters, Nina McClintock of Rockwood; and Garnet Pritts and Nancy Klink, both of Confluence. He was retired from CSX Railroad. A US Army veteran of the Korean conflict, and a member of Confluence VFW Post 7250. Also a member of Sycamore Masonic Lodge 520 F and AM of Deshler, Ohio. Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, until 2 pm Sunday, the hour of service. Rev. Thomas Charles officiating. Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
