She was born in Adams county, near St. James church and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Detter) Spangler. Forty seven years ago she was married to Mr. Eby, who survives with two daughters, Mrs. Maurice S. Carbaugh, and Miss Ottie Eby, at home, and one son, Franklin L. Eby, near Littlestown. Four brothers, Edward, Barnhart and Jacob Spangler, Littlestown, and William Spangler, California, and one sister, Mrs. John Hoffman, Fairfield, and the following grandchildren: Elizabeth Amelia, and Ottie Lorraine Carbaugh, Hanover, Mrs. Stanley E. Bankert, Detroit, Michigan, and Allen, Richard and Emma Louise Eby, near Littlestown, and one great grandson, Stanley Bankert, Detroit, also survive.
She was a life long member of Christ Reformed church, near Littlestown. Burial will be in the family plot in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
