Mildred Barr, 80, of Box 125, Altoona RD 1, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 26, 2001, at Altoona Hospital.

She was born Jan 30, 1921, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Kehoe) Robinson. She married Cloyd B. Barr, Sept 2, 1939, in Altoona. He preceded her in death June 22, 1979.

Mrs. Barr was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Juniata. She retired from Riverside Bakery, where she worked as a bakery finisher. She attended Altoona High School. Mrs. Barr enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are three children, Doris Massaro, Cloyd B. Barr Jr. and Kenneth L. Barr, all of Altoona; eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and three sisters; Catherine Knott of Grove City, Ohio, Anna Thomlinson Moyer of Altoona and Leona Williams of Salem, Or.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; Leroy and Earl, and two sisters Mary Porta and Helen Owens.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Friday Sept 28, 2001, and from 9 to 9:30 am Saturday at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, where a vigil for the deceased will be held Friday evening.

Funeral Mass for Mildred Barr will be at 10 am Saturday at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Altoona, with the Rev. Carl A. Spishak officiating. Committal at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
