A native of Abbeville, SC, she was the widow of Harvey Joseph Catlett and retired from the Norfolk Naval Supply Center-NOB and was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church.Survivors include a stepson, Corbin Catlett of Portsmouth; two sisters, Virginia Robertson of Ninety Six, SC, and Lucille Medlock of Laurens, SC; and three nieces, Joyce Leary of Georgia, and Brenda Turner and Elaine.
