He was born Oct. 5, 1928, in Delavan to Charles M. and Margaret Fink Goeken. He married Suzanne "Suzy" Perry on Nov. 20, 1955, in Delavan, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and six brothers.
Kenneth farmed his entire life in the Delavan area.
He served in the National Guard during the Korean War, attaining the rank of staff sergeant.
He was a member of Delavan United Methodist Church; a 24-year board member of Taloma Farmers Grain Co. in Delavan, serving as president for 10 years; he was a 32-degree Mason and past master of the Delavan Masonic Lodge, AF & AM; Peoria Consistory and Mohammed Shrine for over 50 years; member of Delavan American Legion Post 382 for over 50 years, where he served as commander of the color guard and firing squad for over 20 years; and served on the board of County ASCS-FSA County Committee for 28 years, nine years of which he was committee chairman.
Kenneth was a cook at the Delavan American Legion Sunday breakfasts, where he was known for his pancakes. He was an avid Cardinals fan and never met a stranger.
