LONDON T. "LT" ENGLAND, JR., P.E., a native Houstonian, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at the age of 62. He was born on November 28, 1941 to London T., Sr. and Mary Siebel England. LT graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he fought in the Vietnam War. He was employed as the Project Contracts Manager for many years at FMC/Sofec, Inc.

LT is preceded in death by his mother, Mary. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Doreen; son, Darren Michael England; father, London Thurman England, Sr.; sister, Judy England White and her husband Charles of New Orleans; and numerous relatives and friends. The pallbearers for the funeral service are Darren England, Charles White, David Swain, Steve Swain, Max Roth, Kyle Brookshier, Kyle Blair, and James Mattinson.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at The Settegast-Kopf Co. Funeral Directors, 3320 Kirby Drive. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2004 in The Chapel of Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Houston, with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Wesley, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in LT's name to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231-4596.
