BOWMAN
Died of Typhoid Fever at Burgin Yesterday
It was with deep regret that the Herald received the announcement at noon yesterday from Burgin that Mr. William Bowman had just died at that place. Some weeks ago he was stricken with typhoid fever. After weeks of suffering he began to improve and it was thought would recover, but a relapse occurred Friday last and he passed away yesterday. Deceased was a son of the late Thomas Bowman and was a man who numbered his friends by the score. He was 34 years of age, and leaves a wife, who was Miss Callie Stone, and four small children. For several years he had been engaged in the livery business at Burgin. He carried life insurance in two companies, but for what amount we did not learn. Funeral services will be conducted at the Christian church, Burgin, at 2:30 this (Thursday) afternoon, by Rev. O. W. Darnold, the pastor. The interment will take place in the Burgin cemetery.
