Glenda Bartoo, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Service: 10 a.m. Monday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land. Glenda was born Feb. 7, 1941, in Weatherford to Clarence and Elsie Bostwick. She loved life, her family and friends. She also loved traveling, gambling and bowling with friends. She always wanted to win the lottery. She was a strong Christian and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Burleson. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Bostwick. Survivors: Loving husband of 43 years, Gene Bartoo; daughter, Melody Brackeen; sisters, Ann Bostwick and Sandra Prince; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Durham and Pat Bostwick; aunt, Lucretia Terrel; son-in-law, Rod Brackeen; and numerous other family members and friends.
