Harry Albright Found Dead In Hotel Bathroom

Harry P. Albright, aged 74, was found dead at 8.20 o'clock this morning in a third floor bathroom at the Colonade hotel, 914 Chestnut Avenue. Death resulted from a heart attack, reported Deputy Coroner Edgar G. Walls.
Albright was accused of shooting his wife, Elizabeth, during a drinking party at the couple's home in 1924. He was tried in the Blair County courts and, following conviction, was sentenced to undergo a term in the penitentiary by Judge Thomas J. Baldrige on March 17, 1924. Most of the sentence was served at Rockview prison farm and Albright was released on parole in January, 1931.
Albright had resided at the Colonade for the past four years. He had no occupation, according to Deputy Coroner Walls and Detective Sergeant Robert Bartlebaugh and Office W. T. Stevens, who were called by Mrs. Iva Bergstresser, who conducts the hotel. Harry P. Albright was born on June 10, 1872, at Roaring Spring, the son of Jacob and Sarah Albright. He is survived by one brother. The body was given over to Undertaker Leslie E. Axe for burial.
