Allen D. Boone was a farmer, married to the former Susan Narcissa Fletcher on May 21, 1856 in Rankin, Mississippi. He enlisted as a private in Company I, of the 1st King's Infantry Regiment, Mississippi State Troops during the Civil War. He enlisted at Bolton's Depot in Hinds County for an indefinite term on 3 July 1862. His death was recorded in the Confederate States Army Hospital at Vaiden, Mississippi. A newspaper article stated that he was buried at Vaiden, Mississippi.
