Joanne A. Burtis Brenner, 84, of Liberty Estates, formerly of West Lebanon, Indiana, passed away at 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center of Danville, Illinois.
She was born Feb. 26, 1926 in Hoopeston, Illinois, to Harry D. and Ina Chadwick Burtis. On Sept. 15, 1946,she married John R. (Jack) Brenner in Black Mountain, N.C. He preceded her in death in 2004. She also was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bill Burtis.
Surviving are her sister, Clara Jean Browne, her son, Joe Brenner, a daughter, Jackie Fehrenbach (Dan), six grandchildren, Heather Holder (Brian), Natalie Lind (Kristian), Jessica Foster (David), Emily Jones, Daniel Fehrenbach, Jennifer Taylor (Neil) five great-granddaughters.
