- Douglas Neil Anderson, 83, of Aurora, died June 10, 2003 in Mayfield, Utah.

He was born March 11, 1920 in Aurora, Utah a son of James Arnel and Irene Kennedy Anderson. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He married Afton Ernstsen September 5, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marriage later solomized in the Manti L.D.S. Temple.

He is survived by his wife and six children, Courtney and Sharon Anderson; Neil and Robin Anderson; Sheldon and Laura Anderson; Sherman and JoAnn; Shadara and Brian Arn. Brother Lorin Anderson. Preceded in death by a son Gardell Anderson.

Funeral services will be Saturday June 14, 2004 at 11 a.m. in the Aurora L.D.S. Ward Chapel where friends may call Friday 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:30 to 10:30 prior to services. Burial will be in the Aurora Cemetery with military rites by Salina American Legion Post 36 and under the direction of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Salina, Gunnison and Richfield.
