Orland Man Dies Here
ORLAND-Rosary will be recited tonight at 8:30 at the F.D. Sweet Chapel in Orland for Benjaman Edward Foster of Orland who died Sunday night at Glenn General Hospital after being hospitalized for 11 days. Requiem mass will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Orland. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Foster was born in Orland August 24, 1890 and had lived his entire lifetime in the Orland area where he farmed.
Survivors include two sons, Duane of Sacramento and Dan of Hayward; a daughter Betty Westaby of Orland: two brothers, Lee of Hayward and Al of Auberry; three sisters, Adeline Leonard of Fresno, Ellen Marston of Berkeley and Laurie Erickson of Santa Cruz; 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
