MRS. Z. H. ELLIOTT DIES
Mrs. Z. H. Elliott died at the home of her husband some miles from Barnesville last Sunday morning at 3 o'clock, after an illness of some weeks, er death not being unexpected, as it was realized that she could hardly survive. She was sixty seven years old last May and was a woman who had lived an exemplary life among the people of her community, having many warm personal friends among her neighbors. She was born in Monroe Co., GA and before marriage was Miss Irene Perdue. For fifty-one years she had been a consistent member of the Baptist Church and a number of children and friends bless her name for the good she has done.
The funeral was held at Mt. Zion Church at Piedmont Monday, the service being conducted by her pastor, Rev. A. C. Smith of Griffin. The people of the entire community extends sympathy to the loved ones, particularly to the beloved husband, Mr. Zack Elliott, who is himself in feeble heath.
Mr. Elliott and children have asked the News-Gazette to express to all their friends who have been so kind and loving in their ministrations to their departed loved one and to them their hearty thanks and to say that their extreme kindness will ever be held in appreciation.
