Elliott died at the home of her husband some miles from Barnesville last Sunday morning at 3 o'clock, after an illness of some weeks, er death not being unexpected, as it was realized that she could hardly survive. The funeral was held at Mt. Zion Church at Piedmont Monday, the service being conducted by her pastor, Rev. A. C. Smith of Griffin. The people of the entire community extends sympathy to the loved ones, particularly to the beloved husband, Mr. Zack Elliott, who is himself in feeble heath.
Mr. Elliott and children have asked the News-Gazette to express to all their friends who have been so kind and loving in their ministrations to their departed loved one and to them their hearty thanks and to say that their extreme kindness will ever be held in appreciation.
