Lloyd Graham, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, was granted a sweet release from this life July 9, 2010, snuggled in the arms of his wife, Pauline.
He was born in Highland, Utah on March 22, 1920.
He marred Pauline Ryser July 21, 1942, in the Salt Lake Temple and they were sweethearts in an exemplary marriage for 68 years.
Lloyd was raised in Byron, Wyoming and Salt Lake City, attending South High School and the University of Utah. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Southern States, and served his country as an officer in the army during World War II. While stationed in New Orleans, Lloyd and Pauline developed the pattern of, "wherever they were, this was home," and Lloyd served and blessed the lives of others wherever he lived.
He was a chemist and administrator with Chevron Oil for 36 years and because of his expertise, he was sent to Saudi Arabia to build and manage two oil refinery laboratories.
Lloyd and Pauline served two missions together: Manchester, England and Melbourne, Australia. He was a Bishop of the Garden Park 2nd Ward and Grant 4th Ward, but what he loved best was teaching and missionary work.
Lloyd served as a guide on Temple Square and a President of the Canyon Rim Chapter, Sons of Utah Pioneers.
Lloyd is survived by his "bride", Pauline, and his five children, sons Gary (Wendy), Richard (Cathryn) and daughters, Marilyn (Bruce Hoggan), Lynette (Geoffrey Orme), and Kathleen (Scott Olson). He has 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Joy Hadlock (Stan).
