Graveside Services and Interment for Kenneth Cook, 61, of Spring formerly of Tyler are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens, under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.
Mr. Cook died Monday, July 5, 2010, in Houston.
He was born May 17, 1949 in Anniston, Alabama to the late Earl Ellington and Dorothy Agnes Medders Cook.
He was raised in Tyler, leaving Tyler in 1968 to join the Army. Recently lived in Spring for a year and a half, and 15 years in Atlanta, Georgia where he owned and operated his own fencing business selling it in 2008, formerly employed by Atlas where he was a warehouse supervisor.
Survived by son, Kenneth Cook, Jr., Kilgore, daughter, Angela Crayton, Ft. Worth, brother and sister in law, Ronnie and Blanca Cook, Jacksonville, sister, Judy Starr, Brownsboro, several grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be Friday 9:00 A.M. to service time.
