Lois was a member of the Tiffin Baptist Church. She lived a full and independent life and enjoyed the outdoors and their farm. She loved her family dearly.
On April 16, 1943, she married Harold Lee Hackleman. They were the parents of a son, Randy Lee Hackleman of Parsons, KS. Harold passed away September 26, 2001.
Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, and brother, Curtis Alexander.
Survivors include: son, Randy Hackleman and wife Nancy; two grandchildren: Alan Hackleman and wife Stephaine and Regina Palmer and husband Robbie; five great-grandchildren: Brett Palmer, Ariel Geil and Abbott, Lucas Hackleman, Kylea Palmer, and Allison Hackleman; one great-great-grandson, Braxton Palmer; one brother, Ed Alexander; one sister, Beverly Herbst and husband Bob; brother-in-law, Clarence Hackleman and wife Janie; niece, Peggy Oney and Delbert; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews whom she was very fond of.
Funeral services for Lois Hackleman were held on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Rev. Brent Bland officiated. Burial followed in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Brett Palmer, Robbie Palmer, Ryan Oney, Delbert Oney, Michael Moyer, and Abbott Geil.
