Edward T. Sauer, 62, born February 15, 1908, in Louisville, Kentucky, a resident here since 1945, died Wednesday evening in a local hospital. A longtime photo engraver, Mr. Sauer worked with the Jackson Engraving Company here for 25 years. He worked in New York, Ohio, Texas and California before deciding to make Albuquerque home.

He is survived by his wife Madeleen Sauer of the family home; a son, Edward C. Sauer, San Ramon, CA; a brother, Clinton B. Sauer, Long Island, NY; three sisters, Mrs. Antoinette Wolf and Mrs. Eleanor Burkhalter, both of Louisville, KY; and Mrs. Gergianna Mitcham of Irvington, KY; and three grandchildren. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

Memorial services will be Saturday at 10:a00 a.m., in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary with Msgr. Bernard Burns officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Park Cemetery.
