Frank C. Cook Taken by Death
Frank C. Cook, 874 Westchester, Grosse Pointe Park, aged 78, died October 27, 1950, at his residence after a short illness. He was born in Hartford, Conn. And came to this area 60 years ago.
He was an attorney in the firm of Cook and Baumann located in the Majestic Building and practiced in Detroit for 55 years. He was graduated from the University of Michigan in 1895.
He was a member of the Detroit Athletic Club. He was a grand Knight and a 4th degree No. 305. He was a member of the Knights of Equity.
Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Frances (Conway); son John C., and a brother Rt. Rev. Monsigneur John G. Cook, and sisters, Mrs. Julian S. Connor, Mrs. John Stockpool, Mrs. Leo A. Schafer and Mrs. Walter E. Whalen.
The funeral was from the Verheyden Funeral Home at 16300 Mack at Outer Drive Monday at 9:45 and in St. Ambrose Church at 10:30. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
