Arthur S Wilson Snoddy Sr. ---age 64 of 4404- 44th St. died at 9:35 am Tues. in King's Daughters Hospital following a short illness. Mr. Snoddy was born April 19, 1914 at Raceland, a son of the late Charles and Cora Pennington Snoddy.
He was a retired employee of Allied Chemical Corp. and was employed as a heater supervisor of Wilputte Corp. He was a resident of Ashland for 38 Yrs.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Gertrude Bishop Snoddy; Five daughters, Mrs Wanda Price of Lexington, Mrs. Patricia Kouns, Mrs Carol Leibee and Mrs Jennifer Long, all of Ashland. and Mrs. Leslie Castle of Sanford, Fl. and a son Arthur Wilson Snoddy Jr. of Worthington. A sister, Miss Jessie Snoddy of Raceland; two brothers, James Snoddy of Newport News, VA and Chester Snoddy of Pittsburgh; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call from 6-9 PM today and until service time on Thursday.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
