Mrs. Baker was born October 10, 1915, in Elk Rapids, Mich. to Owen E. and Bertha Z. (Hollingsworth) Bohannon. She moved with her parents to Coffeyville, attending the local school system.
She married Richard Byrd "Doc" Baker on Aug. 31, 1936, at Independence. Mr. Baker was a carpenter and farrier on local ranches. He died September 23, 1990. Mrs. Baker was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol S. Erwin, of Oswego; one brother, Max Bohannon, of Coffeyville; one sister; Barbara Wagner, of Pa.; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by Richard Byrd "Doc" Baker.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, at Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville. The casket will be closed.
Friends may call at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Edgewood Chapel to sign the guest register from noon until 9 p.m. Thursady, and from 8 a.m. until noon Friday.
Friends should gather at the grave site prior to service time.
