John Wallace Cook was the son of John Franklin Cook (1806-abt.1870) and Sarah Wilson Cook (1808-1898). John Wallace Cook was my great-great grandfather. He was father to my great grandmother, Hattie Elizabeth Cook Pethel.

John Wallace was married twice and had nine children with each wife. John was 19 years old when his first child was born and he was 69 years old when his last child was born.
