"John J. Denbrock, 49, assistant to the vice president of private brand sales at General Tire, died Wednesday at Akron General Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Akron, Mr. Denbrock was a Falls resident 14 years. He lived at 2410 Eighteenth St. He was employed at General tire for 22 years and served in his present post since 1964.
Mr. Denbrock was active in United Fund raising campaigns in Akron and was a member of Fairlawn County Club. He was a World War II veteran.
He leaves his wife, Violet; son, Barry and daughter, Janice, all of the Falls, and brother Charles of Akron.
Requiem Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery."
