Elsie G. Glatfelter
NEIMANS – Elsie G. Glatfelter, 95, of Shrewsbury Lutheran Retirement Village, formerly of Neimans, died Wednesday afternoon at the home. She was the wife of the late Paul A. Glatfelter.
The service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church, Seven Valleys RD 1. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the church. The Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Glatfelter was born in Manheim Township. She was the daughter of the late Jacob K. and Clara (Gibbons) Wagner.
She was the oldest living member of Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church, where she was active in the Ladies' Sunday School class and the Evangelical Lutheran Women.
Mrs. Glatfelter is survived by a son, Dean B. Glatfelter of Glen Rock RD 2; a daughter, Mildred E. Miller of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Abbie C. Wallick and Alta A. Trone, both of York.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. J. Thomas Shelley.
