Dollie Jackson, 89, of Enloe passed away Monday, July 24, 2006, in Dubuis Hospital in Paris TX. She was born March 20, 1917, near Cross Roads in Delta County TX. She was the daughter of David and Susie Bailey Wallace. She lived in Delta County most of her life and was an active member of Enloe Baptist Church as long as she was able to attend. She married Weldon Jackson on Oct. 29, 1935, in Lake Creek; and he preceded her in death Dec. 9, 1992.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Roy Lee and Dolores Jackson of Charleston; grandsons, Jerry Jackson and wife, Tracie, of Quitman and John Jackson of Addison; great-grandchildren, Jakob, Jhett and Jentri Jackson of Quitman; sisters, Estelle Wilson of Paris, Della Fay Gilmore of Cleburne and Bennie Jo Peek of Elk City, Okla.
There are supposed to be 22 siblings/half-siblings by two different mothers with the same father.
Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery.
