She was born October 14, 1927 in Haworth, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Kurth had lived in Eagletown two weeks, having moved from Fortuna, California. She was a member of the Baptist church.
She was survived by her husband Auther of Fortuna; five sons, Woody Middlebrook of Redding, California, Kelly Kurth of Fortuna, and Jerry, Rod, and Jimmy Bice, all of Eagletown; two daughters, Katy Rhyne of Santa Rosa, California and Sharon Bice of Fortuna; her mother, Mrs. Cecil Joiner of Eagletown; three brothers, Cecil Jr., Kenneth, and Paul Joiner, all of Eagletown; six sisters, Laverne Bates, Geraldine Blankenship, Mary Helen Morris, Donna Smith, and Linda Reed, all of Eagletown, and Judy Ross of Wright City, Oklahoma; and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Gospel Beams Church in Eagletown with Reverend Melvin officiating. Funeral arrangements and burial in the Eagletown cemetery were under direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.
