Mrs. Blanche Sutton Aldridge, wife of Harold Aldridge died in St. Mary's hospital in Decatur on Tuesday evening. She had been seriously ill but a few days.
Funeral services were held in the McMullin Funeral Home Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Burns in charge. Interment was in Greenhill cemetery. The following were pall bearers: Charles Schoonover, Kenneth Mahoney, Lonnie Mahoney, John Stevens, Ralph Misenheimer and Carl Misenheimer.
Mrs. Aldridge was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Sutton and was born near Coles, June 23, 1897. Her first husband was Joe Miller. From this union three children survive: Marguerite, Joseph, and Magaret Miller. There are two children from the later marriage: Evelyn Joan and Loretta May Aldridge.
She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mae Miller and Mrs. Eudora Dunham of Springfield, Mrs. Cordia Stevens, Mrs. Vivian Webb, Miss Mary Sutton, and Marion and Oliver Sutton of Sullivan.
