Mrs. Ives was born April 23, 1912, in Oquawka, Henderson Co., IL daughter of Leo and Bertha Jern Shields. She married Kenneth R. Ives November 1, 1933 , at the Rozetta Baptist , Henderson Co., IL . The couple lived in Collinsville, IL. She was a homemaker, an employee of Stix Baer and Fuller, in St. Louis until her retirement, and a member of the First Baptist Church, Collinsville, IL.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. today , Sunday at Herr Funeral Home 501 W. Main Street Collinsville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday with Rev Robert Haslam officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL. Memorial are suggested for the Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
