Ardith Ann Card, 67, died Feb. 24, 1998 in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Ardith was born in Parkersburg, Iowa, to Roland and Sula Turner. She married William Card on June 27,1948 in New Hartford,Iowa, and they took their honeymoon to Niagra Falls. They later divorced then in 1962 reunited.
Ardith and her family moved from Iowa to California in 1962 and later moved to Oregon in 1972. She attended Assembly of God Church in Klamath Falls for six years. She worked for Tree Farm as a sorter for five years and was employed as a cook for the Masonic Retirement Home in California for eight years. Ardith also spent part-time working as a nurse and house-wife in California.
She enjoyed famiy reunions in Iowa and holidays in Klamath Falls. Her hobbies included reading, crossword puzzles and listening to 1950s music.
Ardith is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Card of Klamath Falls; daughters and son-in-law, Peggy and Rodney Tietjen of Klamath Falls, Oregon and JoAnn Card of Bonanza, Oregon; son and daughter-in-law, David and Patty Card of Klamath Falls; grandchildren, Robyn, Steven and Chantel Tietjen of Klamath Falls, and Bryn and Drew Card of Klamath Falls; sisters and brother-in-law, Donna Schull of Iowa, Esther Thomas of Iowa, Doris and Wayne Fleshner of Iowa, Arlene and Kenny Flickinger of Iowa; and brother, Wayne Turner of Iowa. A step- daughter Pastor Rachelle (Card-Wells) Bobenmoyer of New Hampton, Iowa and Step-son Romaine Card-Wells of Charles City, iowa.
