Zula Marie Folsom, 70, of Orange, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at her residence.

Born on May 16, 1940 in Abbeville, Louisiana to parents, John Datly Guidry and Lou May (Langlinais) Guidry, she had lived in Orange for 54 years, was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Orange and a Homemaker. Zula enjoyed working in her yard, growing flowers, enjoyed caring for children and spending time with her family.

Zula is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, William Lamar Folsom of Orange; her daughters, Janie Self of Orange and Sandra Bernard and husband, Joe of Orange; her son, Keith Folsom and wife, Ann of Orange; her sisters, Georgie Jeanise and husband, Henry of Orange and Dianna Miguez and husband, Kenwood of New Iberia, Louisiana; her brothers, Bill Guidry and wife, Rene of Loreauville, Louisiana and John Guidry and wife, Irene of New Iberia, Louisiana; her 4 grandchildren, Michele Stone, rusty Benard, Amber Smith and Brian Folsom; her 3 great-grandchildren, Madeline Stone, Tre' Bernard and Sydney Smith. Zula is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange.
