Luther B. Gay, 83, of Mount Dora died Monday (Feb. 11, 2002) in Eustis. Born in Roanoke, Ala., he moved to Mount Dora in 1947. He was a truck driver for Whistling Pines Nursery. He was a Baptist. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Annie L. Gay of Mount Dora; two sons, Marlin Gay of Roanoke, Ala., and Michael Gay of Lake Panasoffkee; two daughters, Angela Drake of Lake Panasoffkee and Robin Gay of Mount Dora; brother, Austin Gay of Winter Haven; sister, Annie Cunningham of Roanoke, Ala.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services of Mr. Luther B. Gay will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis, on Thursday (Feb. 14, 2002) at 2pm. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
