Raymond Wilson Spradlin, 73, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. He was born on May 2, 1937, the son of the late Emerson (Pete) Spradlin and Virginia Drewery Spradlin. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence Edward Spradlin, Douglas (Doug) Linwood Spradlin and Aubrey William Spradlin. Surviving are his wife, Helen Spradlin, of Roanoke; three sons, Donnie Spradlin and his wife, Carol, of Christiansburg, Gerald Spradlin, and Richard Spradlin; three grandchildren, Jimmy, Kayla, and Brandon; sister, Faye S. Beckner, of Callaway; and several nieces and nephews.
