Edgar Thomas Cook, age 86, of Houston passed away July 2 in Houston. He was born on May 19, 1891 in Houston County, and spent most of his life in Houston County. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons George Cook of Beaumont, and DR Cook, Norman Cook, RL Cook and Harold Cook, all of Houston; daughters, Mrs Christine Wells, Mrs Tiny Omelina, and Mrs Faye Simpson, all of Houston; a brother, Douglas Cook of Porter Springs; 23 grandchildren and 13 great great grand children.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, July 5, at 1030am in the Waller Family Chapel with Rev E.D. Sarratt officiating. Burial was in the Porter Springs Cemetery.
