Funeral services for Carrie Stewart Doler of Winona will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. John L. Walker and Rev. T. R. Darsey will officiate the services.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Lee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Doler died of heart failure on Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Winona Manor in Winona. She was 100 years old.
Mrs. Doler was the daughter of the late James M. and Nola Crawley Stewart and the widow of the late Jack Doler. She was a homemaker and a retired clerk for Gordon's Department Store. Mrs. Doler was a former member of the Bethlehem Home Demonstration Club, Bethlehem Community Club, and the Women's Missionary Union. She had been a member of First Baptist Church in Winona since 1939.
Survivors include her daughter, Anne Doler Cole Stigler and her husband, Robert D. Stigler, of Winona; her son, William Morris Doler and his wife, Jenell Cheek Doler, of Winona; three grandchildren, Keith Doler and his wife, Janet, of Monroe, LA, Jeff Doler of Jackson, WY, Jacqueline Cole Wells and her husband, Richard, of Clarksdale; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
