Mrs. Coffey was born and reared in the Montpelier neighborhood and had spent all of her life there. Before her marriage she was Miss Sarah Emma Conover, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Conover. The deceased was a splendid Christian woman, having united with the Baptist Church at the age of 13.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Coffey, and four sons, Bascom, William, Joe Pink, and Everett Coffey. She also leaves several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were conducted at the church by the pastor, Rev. Ferrell, of Greensburg, and the remains were laid to rest in the family cemetery.
