Mrs. Gilbert Crockett
Mrs. Annie Mae Crockett, 73, of Grimstead, died on Sunday, December 7, 1975, in a Newport News hospital.
She was the widow of Gilbert L. Crockett, and was a member of the Gwynn's Island Baptist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Laura C. Mullis of Grimstead; four sons, Alvin B. Crockett of Key West, Fla., Lewis Crockett of Hampton, David C. Crockett of Newport News and Morris E. Crockett of Mathews; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, conducted by the Rev. Julian S. Orrell, pastor of the Gwynn's Island Baptist Church. Burial was in the Gwynn's Island Cemetery.
Pallbearers were L. R. Callis, Allen Hearn, Aubrey Powell, Clarence W. Collier, Otwood Fernald and Wilson Rowe.
