Mrs. Emma Davis, 60, of Harrisburg, Illinois died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lillian Cutsinger, 184 Lothrop avenue. She was ill and came here five days before her death to reside with Mrs. Cutsinger. Mrs. Davis was born March 5, 1884, in Eldorado, Illinois, the daughter of Richard and Mary Jane (Reed) Fryer. She is survived by her husband who is a patient in a hospital in Anna, Illinois; three sons, A.R. and Gwin Davis of Harrisburg, Illinois, and PFC. Charles Davis, stationed in Hawaii; another daughter, Mrs. Oral Walls of Harrisburg; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Will, George, and Roy Fryer, and a sister, Mrs. Effie Shire, all of Covington, Tennessee. Funeral services and burial will be in Harrisburg on Saturday afternoon.
