Ruth was also predeceased by a son, Raymond Roberts, who also had been a resident of East Hartford, in 1993. Mrs. Roberts, is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and G. Thomas Hapkiewicz of East Hartford, Nancy and Ronald Cormier of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11am at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, with burial to follow in Center Cemetery, East Hartford. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visitation will take place on the morning of the funeral, at the funeral home, from 10am until time of service.
