Talmon was the son of Daniel Beardsley and Hannah Brush. He was one of nine children, the others being > Hile, Anna, Barna, Orlando, Philo, Alfred, Hannah and Dorinda. Talmon married Temperance Spicer in 1835 and they had six children, Ann, Hattie, Miles Henry, Avery Spicer and Louise Jane.In Akron, Ohio, Beardsley Ave., which runs right next to my former house, is named for this family. Talmon was a farmer.
