Services for Mr. Frank W. Crew, 78, of Montgomery, La. will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2002 in First United Methodist Church at Montgomery with Dr. Jimmy Walker officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Montgomery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home, Natchitoches.

Mr. Crew died Friday, August 16, 2002 in the V.A. Medical Center, Alexandria.

He was a native and life long resident of Montgomery. He was a retired pipeliner. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Montgomery, Montgomery Masonic Lodge #798. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Rasberry.

Survivors include his wife Sarah J. Crew of Montgomery; one son, Daniel B. Crew and his wife Janet, both of Montgomery; one daughter, Gayle Johnson and her husband Bo of Shalimar, Florida; one sister, Mabel Downs of Montgomery; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Maxine Jackson of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren, Kelly Johnson of Macon, Georgia, Kristy Nelson and her husband Derek of Montgomery and Shelly Crew of Montgomery.

Pallbearers will be John Garner, Marvin Jowers, Derek Nelson, Kelly Johnson, Bo Johnson, and Danny Crew.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. L.R. Collier, Carlos Brady, Mickey Murphy, Dr. Joseph H. Jackson, and Dr. Jack Smith.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 18, 2002 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Monday, August 19, 2002 from 8 a.m. to service time in First United Methodist Church at Montgomery, La.
