John L. Keithley, 71, rural Williamsburg, died Tues., June 15 at Altoona Hospital. He was born in Roaring Spring, to John Robert & Helen (Bowman) Keithley. He married Paula D. Hileman on Sept. 22, 1967, in Geeseytown. Survived by wife; son, Dwayne L., at home; daughter, Dawn R. Wallace, Huntingdon; sisters: Janice Mohn, Medina, Ohio; Jean Miller, Berkeley Springs, WV, and Hazel Smith, Duncansville; brothers: Irvin 'Tom', Martinsburg & Teddy, rural Martinsburg. Predeceased by sister, Irene Minimier; brother, David and nephew, Gary. John was a 1957 graduate of Morrisons Cove High School, Martinsburg. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in peacetime from 1959-64, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant E5. He owned and operated a farm near Williamsburg for the past 38 years and previously was employed at Young's Inc. and Appleton Papers Inc., Roaring Spring. John was of the Lutheran faith. Bolger Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Interment with military rites, Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
