Cubia Lee "MeMa" Buckner, 91, of Lockhart passed away to Our Heavenly Father July 9, 2012. She is survived by her son, Danny and wife, Barbara Buckner, of Lockhart; daughter, Debbie and husband John Hinnenkamp, of Lockhart; granddaughter, Tammy and husband, Ben Kreuz, of Dripping Springs; granddaughter, Brianna Hinnenkamp, of Austin; and great-grandchildren, Kyle and Preston Kreuz, of Dripping Springs.
MeMa was born July 11, 1920 to Milton and Vollie Ingram. She married Kenneth V. Buckner on Oct. 29, 1942. Kenneth preceded her in death on May 4, 1989. Cubia was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
MeMa will be remembered most for her love of family and her awesome cooking.

A visitation was held at Eeds Funeral Home Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral services were held at First Lockhart Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 11, at 10 a.m. with Reverend Gary Rodgers officiating. The family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Austin or First Lockhart Baptist Church.
