Born August 9, 1926, in Baylor County, she had lived most of her life in Olney. She was a member of the Church of God where she served on the finance committee and in the ladies' ministries.
She was an interior decorator.
Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Sanderson of Covington; two
sons, Don Thorpe of Limestone, Maine, and Alan Thorpe of Denver, Colorado.;
one brother, Raymond Graves of Archer City; two sisters, Inez Pemberton and Thelma Brumley, both of Olney; and two grandchildren.
