Apgar, Murriel Jo 94, of Fenton, Missouri, formerly of Mount Vernon, IL, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley, in Fenton, Missouri. She was born Thursday, September 9, 1915, in Boss, Missouri, daughter of the late Ott and Susie (nee Hughes) Botkin. Sister of Gilbert Botkin of Florissant, She married Charles E. Apgar in Jackson, Mississippi in August of 1953. Services: Funeral Service and visitation were held Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at HUGHEY Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois. Her parents preceded her in death. Murriel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington University with a Master's Degree in Child Psychology and later was an Elementary, High School and College level educator with the Clayton, Missouri School District and was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Concord, Missouri.
