1920 census family rented their home (1115 Lutrelle St) this information from 1920 census & from BrotherL Garnett Davidson Masters Draft Card of 12 Sep 1918 Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama ~when Garnett listed his next of kin.
Before 1930 census the family bought their home at 204 East Scott Ave. /listing in the 1930 census value of $5,000.

Charles Skinner Agee married his Beautiful Bride Mary Andrews Masters 14 Jun 1899 in Tallapoosa,Alabama.
The couple started out living with Mary's widowed Mother~Dora S Masters.
Uncle Charles was a salesman (mainly dry goods), but for sure he was a big help on the farmland that Dora owned.

Mary and Charles soon had their 1st baby, Charles Skinner Agee Jr., which was a great joy to his parents & Grandmother.
This was followed by daughter Dora Marie Agee in 1903,then an infant in 1905 that died not long after birth.
Then son John M Agee in 1906, then son Garnett A Agee in 1908, and daughter Winifred A Agee in 1910.
Infant # 2 in 1915 that died 2 days later.
Daughter Dora Marie died in 1906~

He lost his last born child (1917) at that childs birth, then he lost his 1st born son, then he lost his treasured wife.
