Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Barrington Methodist church, with the Rev CJ Doenecke officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The remains will lie at the funeral home, 149 West Main Street, until time for the services.
Mr. Schwemm, 65 years old, was born in Barrington Township on October 4, 1873. He was a freight clerk for the Chicago and NorthWestern railroad for 39 years, having been pensioned just 5 months before his death.
Mr. Schwemm's three sons all are serving in the armed forces of their country. Private Harold Schwemm is in Sicily, Private Kenneth Schwemm is stationed at camp Fannin, Tex., and Staff Sergeant Clifford Schwemm is in New Caledonia.
He is also survived by three daughters; Cora (Julian) Dvorak, Grace (LeRoy) Pepper and Myrtle (Frank) Lukes and numerous grandchildren.
