Barbara Ellen (Corkhill) Weis, 63, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away June 5, 2010, at Greenview Regional Hospital. Barbara was born in Janesville, WI, on Sept. 18, 1946. Her parents were Donald S. and Pearl (Ellis) Corkhill. Barbara married Dennis Weis in Janesville, WI, on July 10, 1981. Barbara was a free spirit who loved music and traveling. She lived and loved with no bounds. She leaves us all with a deep regret at our loss. She also leaves us with a great appreciation for her courage to live life fully and on her own terms, and a sense of how fortunate we were to be a part of her life.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Dennis Weis; three daughters: Kristine (David) Hoyt, Jammie (Doug) Coulter, and Jody (John) Good; a son, Joseph (Tasha) Harwick II; 14 grandchildren: special granddaughter and caregiver, Kala Dominy (Joseph Sutimek), Cody and Kyler Larson, Raymond Havens, Johnathan and Andrew Kramer, Logan and Jake Coulter, Samantha and Sabrina Good, Hillary, Gabrielle, Nicolas and Victoria Harwick; a great-grandson, Kaiden Sutimek; one brother, Kevin (Vicki) Corkhill; and two sisters, Callie (James) Graves and Shelly (Lance) Nienow. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her infant son, Jeffrey Allen Johnson; her brother, Donald R. Corkhill; and son in law, David Hoyt.
Barbara chose to have no formal funeral services.
