LEBANON Funeral services for Harold (Hank) Brannon Adams, 81, of Lebanon will be held Friday, March 12, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Partlow Funeral Home in Lebanon. Graveside services will immediately follow at Cookeville City Cemetery in Cookeville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, March 11, from 3-9 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of services.

Mr. Adams died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at Cedar Health Care in Lebanon following a lengthy illness.

He was the son of the late Rev. L.A. and Mabel Adams and a native of South Bend, Ind.

Mr. Adams and his wife were the owners of Adams Wholesale Art and Frame Shop, and he was a decorated Marine, serving during World War II.

His family includes his wife of 36 years, Lyne Stidham Adams; a brother, John Adams of Mt. Vernon, Ill.;and three sisters, Dr. Jacquelyn Weatherford of Hopkinsville, Ky., Jean McCarthy of San Antonio, Texas,and Jenny Sledge of Tucson, Ariz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Adams, and a sister, Sue Stewart.

Pallbearers will be Joe McGovern, Mike Gaw, Roy Spurlock, David and Charles Weatherford and Mike Adams.

Bro. Harold Parker will officiate at the services.
