Mr. Dennis Wayne Neely, of Hephzibah, died on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. He was 46 years old.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Neely is survived by his mother, Jane Neely; his children, Brandon Neely and Michael Neely; his brothers, Gene Neely and his wife Debbie, Jeff Neely, Harlow Neely Jr. and his wife Lisa; his sister, Janet Collins and her husband Dwayne; his granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Neely was preceded in death by his father, Harlow Neely Sr. in 2005, and his wife, Sheila Goode Neely in 2008.
Mr. Neely was born in Waynesboro, Georgia. He was a diesel mechanic for Time Transportation. He loved life and was always laughing. He was very good hearted and generous. He was a loving son, father, and brother, and his loving family will miss him.
