died Saturday [5-14] at a GreenBay nursing home. He was born 3 Nov 1921 in Chicago to the late Jos & Sylvia Antolec. Andy served with the US Army during WW2 in the EuropeanTheater where he lost a leg in the service of his country. He wed the former Betty Engleheart 14 Jun 1958 in Green Bay & had been employed by McDonald's Lum-ber. After becoming blind, he managed a news stand in the Northern Building from 1952-60. He was a long time member of Grace Lutheran Church & also was a member of the Russell Leicht Chapter-3 DAV & the Nobel-Straubel Post-2037 VFW.
Survivors include his wife; 8 children: Bill (sp-Sue)-Pittsburgh PA; Robert-DePere; Richard (sp-Karen)-Morrison; Edrick-Rhilelander; Stan (sp-Lisa) Novi MI; Pam (sp-Mike) Jones-North HendersonIL; Chris (sp-Bruce) Janus-Madison; Sarah-Oshkosh; a bro: AlbertAntolec-Madison; a sis: Mary Raulowski-Chicago IL; his mother in law Vern Engleheart-GreenBay; 13 grand-children; 3 gr grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son-Michael & dau-Theresa.
Friends may call at the Lyndahl Funeral Home Monday & at Grace Lutheran Church Tuesday morning [5-17] where funeral services will be held with the Rev Frank Kauzlarich officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery. There will be VFW memorial services at 7PM Monday.
